This was an emotional play even though the setup was a flat top. In reaction to playing this stock wrong the first time I wanted to redeem myself. Once I entered the flat top I didn't expect the stock to rise so much higher since it consolidated for a while before the thrust upwards. As it was getting closer to the end of day and the stock seemed to struggle to burst through resistance, I exited. As soon as I did, seconds later it shot up.
