Trade #1: Stock gapped up on news. Bought the pullback to price support.

Trade #2: Stock pulled back and consolidated. Sold into the spike.

Trade #3: (also known as the stupid bonehead trade) This is where I was anticipating a run that would break the HOD. Instead I sat and watched as the price continued to make lower highs. I always seem to get into trouble using mental stops versus real stops. I was hoping the price would reverse towards the end of day but unfortunately hope is not a good strategy, lesson learned.

A Tip For People Using Suretrader
One of the common complaints I hear from Suretrader users is that commissions are way too high. I know that many of my readers use Suretrader and are fairly new to the market. Recently, it dawned on me that many of you may not know that you can adjust your commission rate so that fees aren't such a large obstacle.

On their website, Suretrader's commission structure reads, "$4.95/trade up to 1000 shares, $.00495/share." Essentially, this means that for every 1000 shares you trade, you're paying $4.95. Whether you're a penny-stock trader or not, this is VERY steep. Luckily, Suretrader offers a solution! All you have to do is contact their support staff and tell them that you trade penny stocks. Suretrader will then adjust your commission rate to "$4.95/trade up to 10,000 shares, $.000495/share." Your new commission rate will essentially be $4.95 for every 10,000 shares you trade. This is a HUGE difference, because trading 10,000 shares of a stock will now cost you 10 times less!
