One of those stocks you watch
- Max share size 50, plan b size 40.
Open
- At the open AMD was very strong to the upside. Around 15 mins the price action stared to make a downwards turn to break the VWAP. At a certain break of the VWAP and what seemingly looked like the break of the a smaller consolidation level I took firs short position. Second entry was the even lower level. The third add was at rejection of the VWAP and the downside break of the previous 5 min candle. I was full size at this point. Took my first partial based on my average position size. Which I believe was 1R. Second partial was even further and I just kept taking partials all the way down. I could have held again my last size but I was impatient again.
Reflection
- All 3 indicators: Sim confirmation, volume and levels. It was get in criteria.
- The scaling was called for.
- The first partial was a bit questionable. Could have definitely held it considering the price action was now moving in my favor. My last partial also could have been held for a longer period until I actually started seeing the price action curl up against me.
- All in all a pretty well managed trade.
