How to Import Data from Investor/RT into Tradervue

Effortlessly import your trades from Investor/RT to Tradervue using the file upload method. Just follow the straightforward step outlined below.


To import data from Investor/RT, follow these steps:

Step 1:

In Investor/RT, click Portfolio, then select your Portfolio and click Open.

Step 2:

Click the Portfolio Reports button.

Step 3:

Click Closed Position Detail, choose the timeframe you want to export, then click Report.

Step 4:

Click Save As, and save as a text file to your desktop (or anywhere else - just remember where you put it).

Step 5:

Here on the import page, click "Choose file", choose the file you created above, and click "Upload".


Note: on older versions of Investor/RT, you may need to use these steps instead:

Step 1:

In the lower right corner of the Investor/RT DOM, click Account, Trading Results, Today (or This Week / This Month).

Step 2:

In the "Today Detail" popup window (or the Week/Month to date detail), click the blue dropdown arrow at the top left, then click Save As.

Step 3:

Save the text file to your desktop (or anywhere else - just remember where you put it).

Step 4:

Here on the import page, click "Choose file", choose the file you created above, and click "Upload".
