How to Import Data from Lightspeed (Legacy Importer) into Tradervue

Effortlessly import your trades from Lightspeed (Legacy Importer) into Tradervue using the file upload method. Just follow the straightforward step outlined below.

To import data from the Lightspeed (Legacy Importer), follow these steps:

Step 1:

If you haven't already, if you're using Chrome or Safari we recommend you install the Tradervue Import bookmarklet to make the import process much easier; simply drag this link to your bookmarks bar: Tradervue Import (note: not supported on Internet Explorer or Firefox). Here is a video demonstrating how to use the bookmark.

Step 2:

Log into the Lightspeed web site with another browser window, and click "Online Account Access".

IMPORTANT: if this opened a page at online.apexclearing.com (as opposed to mtsfrontend.lightspeed.com), you need to switch import modes on the left side of this page to "Apex-cleared Brokers".

Step 3:

Once logged in, Click Activity History at the top. Or if you don't see that, go to the "Account Information" menu at the top, and choose "Activity History" from the drop down list.

Step 4:

On the activity history page, set the "From" and "To" dates to the date range you wish to import, and click "Go". You should now see a list of the symbols you traded over that date range.

Step 5:

Click on one of the symbols in your trading history list. That will open a new window showing each individual trade execution for that symbol only.

Step 6:

If you are using the Tradervue Import bookmarklet, click it in your bookmarks bar now. You'll need to repeat for each page of results on Lightspeed's execution detail page. That's it! Otherwise, continue on.

Step 7:

To import all symbols for the date range, rather than just the one symbol displayed, look at the URL in the address bar. It will look something like:

https://mtsfrontend.lightspeed.com/ep/execution/?a=2AB12345&s=ABT&d=10%2F15%2F2013&d2=...

In your browser window, delete the "&s=symbol" part of the URL (highlighted above in bold), and hit return to refresh the page. You should now see all data for the date range.

Step 8:

In your browser, do a "select all" to select the entire page, then ctrl+C to copy it, and paste into the box on the left and click "Upload".

Step 9:

You'll need to repeat the copy/paste above for each page of results on the Lightspeed execution detail page.
