How to Import Data from NinjaTrader into Tradervue

Effortlessly import your trades from NinjaTrader into Tradervue using the file upload method. Just follow the straightforward step outlined below.

To import trade data from NinjaTrader, follow these steps:

Step 1:

Select NinjaTrader on the left side of this page, select the time zone your data is in, and the date format the data uses (e.g. month-first, or day-first).

Step 2:

If you are importing forex trades, set the quantity multiplier.

Step 3:

In NinjaTrader's Control Center, go to the Account Performance tab.

Step 4:

Generate a performance history for the account and instruments you want.

Step 5:

When NinjaTrader has finished, and you see data in the Summary, switch to the Executions tab. You should see a list of the trade executions you want to import into Tradervue.

Note For NinjaTrader 8 - instead of the Account Performance tab, instead go to the Trader Summary, then the Executions tab.

Step 6:

Right-click anywhere in the list of executions, and select "Save As", then "Save to Disk".

Step 7:

Save the data as a CSV file to your desktop (or anywhere else - just remember where you put it).

Step 8:

Here on the import page, click "Choose file", choose the file you created above, and click "Upload".

NOTE: alternatively, fully automated and near-realtime trade importing is available using the third-party Journal Lync NinjaTrader plugin.
